Speculative and Critical Design Summer School 2016 – In July 2016, Ben Stopher and I ran a Speculative and Critical Design Summer School at the London College of Communication. The aim was to explore techniques and approaches to teaching the principles of SCD as well as encourage participants from varied backgrounds to find ways to integrate those techniques into their own practice.
The course ran over two weeks featuring a first week of intense workshops and talks from practitioners and theorists followed by a second week in which the participants ran a project in response to a brief.
