designing and ecological alexa was a two-day workshop run at Impakt. As Haunted Machines with Natalie Kane, we invited Feminist Internet to develop a workshop with students from Utrecht NL to buil on their feminist Alexa principles with ecological considerations of smart objects.
The students worked to produce quick prototypes of speculative ecological smart objects which were then presented at a public event where Haunted Machines presented some of the rationale behind the workshop. Including presentations from Conor Rigby, Tarryn Williams, Tom Jarrett and Kris De Decker.
